IslamBradford Eid ul Fitr 1433 AH/2012 Programme

Eid Prayers will be held at the The IslamBradford Centre at 9am on either this Saturday 18th or Sunday 19th of August 2012 depending on the sighting of the New Moon. Sisters and children are welcome.

The main gates at the IslamBradford Centre will open at 8-30am and the Eid prayer will start at 9am inshaAllah. Please note that parking in the compound is likely to be very congested. Brothers and sisters are requested to arrive early and park outside or share transport to the centre if possible.

A light breakfast will be served following the prayers insha'allah.

We hope to see you there!

 

PLEASE NOTE: We will not be taking any Zakatul Fitr on the day of Eid so please make your own arrangments before then.

Zakatul Fitr & Other Announcements

IslamBradford are currently collecting Zaktul Fitr after Tarawih every night this week at £3 per person until Thursday night. The Zakatul Fitr will be given to the Ummah Welfare Trust for distribution as food stuffs to the needy in various countries around the world, before th Eid prayer in accordance with the Sunnah. Please also note that there will be no communal iftaar and lesson on Saturday 18 August 2012, as previously advertised, should Saturday coincide with 30 Ramadan 1432H. And finally, there will be a volunteers meeting on Friday 17 August 2012 at 6-30pm (after Asr prayer) for brothers and sisters wishing to help out on Eid day in serving breakfast after the Eid prayer. The Last Ten Nights of Ramadan Start Tonight InshAllah! Dont Miss Them!‏

The last ten nights of Ramadan are very special. The first of these nights occurs on the eve of the 21st day of Ramadan. In other words, it is the night that commences after the completion of the 20th day of fasting. Sometimes there are only nine nights, whenever the month of Ramadan lasts for only 29 days. Nevertheless, they are still traditionally referred to as "the last ten nights".

Brother Darren from BD5 accepts Islam at IslamBradford

Alhamdulillah Brother Darren from BD5 accepted Islam as his way of life at The IslamBradford Centre on 17 Ramadan 1433H / 5 August 2012 before the communal iftaar. We ask Allah that He strengthens his faith and look forward to seeing many more shahadas at IslamBradford in the near future.
