<p class="EC_MsoNormal"><font face="Times New Roman" color="#000000" size="3"><img style="WIDTH: 76px; HEIGHT: 113px" height="200" alt="Ramadan" width="150" align="left" src="/uploads/Image/Ramadan1.jpg" />IslamBradford was delighted to welcome a number of non-Muslim dignitaries from the Skipton area to its final sponsored Ramadan iftaar. The invitation was organised in conjunction with the Skipton Islamic Society. Guests included a number of councillors, lord mayors and representatives from the fire service. Over five hundred people attended the iftaar.</font></p>
<p class="EC_MsoNormal"><strong><font size="3"><font color="#000000"><font face="Times New Roman">Zakatul Fitr</font></font></font></strong></p>
<p class="EC_MsoNormal"><font face="Times New Roman" color="#000000" size="3">£2,055.00 was collected in Zakatul Fitr during the month of Ramadan on behalf of Nottingham based charity Orphan Aid (</font><a target="_blank" href="http://www.orphan-aid.org/"><u><font face="Times New Roman" color="#800080" size="3">www.orphan-aid.org</font></u></a><font face="Times New Roman" color="#000000" size="3">). The Zakatul Fitr was distributed as food to orphans in East Africa on the day of Eid.</font></p>
<p class="EC_MsoNormal"><font face="Times New Roman" color="#000000" size="3"><strong>Fundraising</strong></font></p>
<p class="EC_MsoNormal"><font face="Times New Roman" color="#000000" size="3">£4,713.34 was raised during appeals during Ramadan and Eid prayers for the IslamBradford New Centre. An additional £275.00 was also raised during the Sisters’ Pre-Eid Bonanza. We ask Allah to reward all the brothers and sisters for their generous contributions.</font></p>
