Belgium Public Radio had selected Bradford as the ideal focus for its series about migrant communities represented in Belgium, being one of the oldest Muslim settlements in Western Europe.

After attending the Friday sermon at the centre, Mr DeVroey interviewed several members of the IslamBradford management team and expressed his great surprise at what he had observed. He described the gathering as 'remarkable and professional' and was highly impressed by the vibrant ethnic mix attending the Friday prayer and observed that he had never seen such a gathering before in his many years of travelling around the world.

Belgium Public Radio will broadcast a programme about Islam in Bradford towards the end of June and inshAllah a ftp link to the programme will be placed in this section. Watch this space...
