All proceeds will be passed to the Ummah Welfare Trust ( on the cut-off date, for distribution as food stuffs on the day of Eid to the needy. May Allah accept all out fasting and prayers and make this charity an atonement for our shortcomings. Ameen.

We will be holding a bonus Iftar on Thursday 24 July 2014 / 26 Ramadan at 9-15pm at The IslamBradford Centre. Breaking tradition, we will be going Italian this time round with delicious pizzas - a welcome break from curry. All welcome. Back to the curry on Friday inshallah.

200-4-100 Campaign

Yesterday, at Tarawih, we launched our 200-4-100 campaign to raise funds for the refurbishment of the New IslamBradford Centre. We are looking forward to spending the next Ramadan, inshallah, at 1 City Road with much enhanced programmes…but we need your help to jump the final hurdle. A significant amount of works is needed at the centre to make the building operational and we are now ready to start on site with all plans now finalised. We estimate that at least £75,000 is required to complete the works, but for Ramadan we can get things rolling by raising an initial £20,000.

At least five hundred unique visitors, physically attend the centre each week. If just two hundred of our valued supporters gave £100 each, then we have met our Ramadan target of £20,000. 200-4-100! £100 is a modest sum of money for most of us, so please don’t hesitate to visit our JustGiving page or bring the cash to Jumuah and hand to Abu Aisha Chin-chan.

Remember that your £100 is an investment in the centre; it is the same as putting the money in the mortar and bricks. Don’t miss out on this limited edition great deal for this life and the hereafter! You have to be in it to win it!
